Poet | Music Journalist | Editor | Writer
ABOUT ME
Originally from New Jersey, I’m a current student at Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts, where I’m pursuing a Creative Writing B.F.A. with focuses on poetry and creative nonfiction and a minor in publishing.
I love all forms of writing, whether that be poetry, magazine writing, or music journalism!
To write is to live.
I’m a published poet who seeks to capture the human experience and unravel its raw edges through moments that linger in the mind and memories that live in the body. To me, a poem isn’t just words; it’s a feeling laced with language. My debut collection “What Happened Was” is out now!

I’m a huge fan of all things rock & roll, and I spotlight my favorite artists who have shaped the genre on my weekly radio show Stop, Rock, & Roll.
I’m a team writer for Milk Crate, a role in which I review albums, revisit iconic records, feature artists, and showcase curated song in weekly Staff Pix.
Currently, I am a Music Journalist intern for Trill Mag!
-
I write for Your Magazine, covering topics from romance to living to style. I seek to investigate how moments and everyday experiences alter the ways in which we see the world!
EDITORIAL EXPERIENCE
-
Currently, I’m the managing editor of Concrete Literary Magazine, a position in which I direct the daily operations of the magazine’s six departments and manage workflow coordination to improve the speed of editorial turnaround and production.
-
At Your Magazine, I’m the assistant romance editor. Each issue, I curate 3 romance pieces, strengthening section consistency and editorial clarity as I mentor the drafting and revision processes of writers.
-
Starting December 2025, I’m a Music Journalist Intern for Trill Mag, where I will be continuing my passion for all things music by writing about releases, iconic artists, and curating playlists to connect audiences with music.

“Consider yourself lucky if you have a calling you can hear. Consider yourself luckier if it’s a creative calling, as there’s no greater joy than looking at art you made with your own hands. And consider yourself one of the luckiest if you have the means to pursue your passion.”
An Interview with Heather Thorn, Dulcet Literary Magazine
In addition to writing, editing, and publishing, another interest of mine is photography. I love to visit cemeteries—not only for their beautiful serenity, but also to visit cultural icons’ places of rest. From Nancy Spungen and Joey Ramone to Jean-Michel Basquiat and Sylvia Plath, I’ve captured many legendary artists and celebrated their legacies through my photography. I invite you to visit my graveyard.
